Finally fitted the Webasto heater, now waiting for some cold mornings to look smug when I come out of the house to a nicely warmed up engine & defrosted windows  :D
Cheers.

What sort of cost is involved with the Webasto heater?

£515   Here's hoping for some really bad weather in Sunbury

Was it difficult and/or involved to fit?

Yes, it is a bit of a luxury.  Should help extend the engine life & it is much more refined (if I can use that word for a Land Rover engine) when it starts already warm - a bit less agricultural as it were.
