Does it actually get stuck in gear? I mean even if the engine isn't running. Could it be the clutch not clearing properly which would relate to tempurature. The clutch master/slave cylinder comes from landrover all assembled as 1, full of fluid and the cap has "do not remove" written on it so that should tell you something about being a sealed unit.
