Introduction
« on: June 12, 2014, 12:20:55 »
Hi Guys and Gals,

I am a new member to the club and hoping to meet you all soon at one of the upcoming events. I have been interested in off road for a while now and recently got myself a new toy :-)

Where can I take her to play? My son has been nagging me since I got her to take her off road.

Dave

Hi and welcome

There are numerous places to go including green lanes and pay & play sites depending on how far you can travel, I think the laws governing green lanes are different in Scotland though.

No doubt local members will chat with you

Shandon Country Pursuits, over at Helensburgh is your nearest 4x4 site to Glasgow.
We used to go to the old Coal Bings at Shots years ago but I don't know if they are still there or if they are still accessible (not even sure if we should have been on there  ).

It may be worth joining the Scottish Off Road Club and get out on some of their events.
