saw this today when out with SWMBO and the kids.
pictures not the best but sign reads
Divers please use discretion when undressing
never seen anything like this in the highway code

There's one that makes me laugh that's just south of Broadford on the Isle of Skye.
It just say:
SLOW
CHILDREN

I always think:  Is that a statement or a caution?  :mrgreen:

when I lived with my parents a neighbour put up a sign as he was fed up with people blocking his garage

That'll be Whitley Bay, just north of Cullercoats Bay on the seafront, I'm guessing?

Mrs Thelobster hails from just inland of the Links, and her father is Hon Sec at the lifeboat station at Cullercoats.  The night before my wedding I stayed in the Bay Hotel, which has since been flattened, and we had our reception aboard the Earl of Zetland, near Royal Quays.
