For blowing up a microwave in the best possible way, bigger the better,

so far thought of a ballon with oxy/cetalene mix & a spoon taped to it inside,1 minute goes boom,

also a 5 litre container of brake cleaner

that would definaly do it, but make sure theres about 80% oxy 20% acet.
more oxy, louder the crack. more acet, more yellow the burn.

but be safe for christ sake :?

A chunk of Magnesium may do it :?:  Another possibility would be a couple of cans of lighter gas/butane.

A 500 Style Camping gas cylinder. you can get about 4 or so in a micro wave. The resulting explosion will be something else.

microwave a couple of CDRs first,  it might blow the microwave up, but you get really pretty patterns on them after a few seconds

You can make home made plastic by boiling up bleach and sugar together (not sure on ratio).

You could try this in the microwave in a metal pan.

Aluminium filings and coaldust.  Sealed container of petrol.  Baking powder.

I was watching something the other night, apparently one of the non-hazardous surfactants when mixed with Zink gives off hydrogen, it blew the deck clean off a tanker ship

I seem to remember one of the best brainiac microwave blsts was from a baloon of petrol/oxygen mix and a metal spoon.

not sure if brainiac has a websight but would be worth a google serach and see if they have any video's attached

I have the perfect recipe, but I had better not post it on an open forum
